Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Stay abreast of changes in federal and state laws (e.g., SEC, FINRA) and update company protocols accordingly.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance violations or internal concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs role.
- Strong working knowledge of financial regulations, including SEC and FINRA rules.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training purposes.
- Certification as a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is highly preferred.
