Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (e.g., BSA/AML, Dodd-Frank, CFPB guidelines) affecting financial operations
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across all business units
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions with management
- Provide comprehensive compliance training to staff at all organizational levels
- Prepare detailed regulatory reports for executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of compliance experience in financial services or regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of federal/state banking regulations and risk management frameworks
- Professional certification (CCEP, CAMS, CRCM) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for training and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
