Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify time records, deductions, and tax withholdings for accuracy
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and wage attachments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly/quarterly tax filings
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Implement payroll process improvements for efficiency
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with FLSA and state laws
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable payroll software
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, MN state laws)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proven ability to meet tight weekly deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
