Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes (e.g., SOX, GDPR, CCPA) to ensure organizational compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and department heads to align compliance initiatives with business goals
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Train employees on compliance requirements and ethical standards
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with appropriate corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field; Master’s or JD preferred
- 5+ years of compliance experience in technology or regulated industries
- Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification required
- Expert knowledge of federal/state regulations (e.g., SEC, OFAC, HIPAA)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment methodologies
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for training and reporting
- Proficiency in compliance software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Experience with cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management
