As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our business. You will be responsible for managing accounts, reconciling bank statements, and processing payroll with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial records are up to date and accurate.
- Process weekly payroll for employees, ensuring all deductions and tax filings are handled correctly.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and processing payments.
- Prepare and generate financial reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and tax filings.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Georgia state tax laws is a plus.
