Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements weekly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with weekly payment cycles
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze variance trends
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings (ADP QuickBooks integration)
- Oversee 1099 vendor payments and compliance documentation
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly/annual audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Proficiency with ADP payroll systems
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Arizona business license and clean credit check
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with construction/contractor industry accounting preferred
