Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and expense reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily transaction management
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with CPA firm for tax preparation support
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles
- Proven ability to manage confidential financial data
- Excellent attention to detail with error-spotting skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
