Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and tracking payments efficiently.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to streamline financial processes and maintain data integrity.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.
