Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including adjusting entries and accruals.
- Process weekly payroll for all employees with precision and adherence to compliance standards.
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for management review.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
