Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Process weekly payroll accurately for all employees.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate.
- Assist with tax preparation and year-end audit support.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
