Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for clients
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings (quarterly/yearly)
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks workflows for efficiency
- Support audits and ensure GAAP/IRS compliance
- Manage client relationships and provide proactive financial insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with payroll processing (ADP/Paychex preferred)
