Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.
- Prepare and issue invoices, and ensure all billing is accurate and up to date.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support the payroll processing team.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
