Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
- Process sales tax and other local compliance filings as required by California state laws.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to resolve financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
