Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and archives in compliance with internal policies.
- Assist with general ledger account analysis and variance reporting.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and financial audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or internship experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
