Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions with 100% accuracy
- Assist in month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare basic financial statements and supporting schedules for client reviews
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Support audit preparation by organizing documentation and schedules
- Collaborate with senior accountants to implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in numerical tasks
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years internship or part-time accounting experience preferred
