The Role: Bookkeeper
In this position, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining healthy cash flow for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a focus on accuracy.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the payroll process by ensuring timesheets are accurate and tax documents are filed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status, invoices, and financial discrepancies.
- Perform month-end close procedures in a timely manner to meet weekly deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly payroll and reporting deadlines consistently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
