Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements and general ledger accounts with precision.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Perform monthly payroll calculations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and prevent fraud.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
