Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Perform monthly and annual audits to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Update and maintain digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
