As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our clients' financial health. We are looking for a proactive individual who can hit the ground running and maintain the high standards we are known for.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Process weekly payroll for employees using [Software Name] or QuickBooks.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for client accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
