Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
- Perform bank deposits and handle general cash management.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and filing support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a professional Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California state tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
