Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Support tax preparation activities including data entry and documentation
- Conduct routine audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial reporting and data analysis
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and process improvements
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
