Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage general ledger accounting and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual financial reviews
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for department heads
- Lead month-end closing procedures with detailed variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Proven experience with multi-state accounting operations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
