Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for business units
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 or public accounting background
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
