Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment statements monthly
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationships
- Implement and optimize internal financial controls and compliance procedures
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Maintain organized digital financial records with cloud-based systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with SMBs
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Expertise in GAAP principles and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting accuracy
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or similar platform required
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
