Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting deadlines
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation for clients
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with daily payroll systems preferred
