Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monthly financial statement preparation.
- Process payroll accurately and on time to ensure employees receive their weekly pay without delay.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (or equivalent accounting software) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
