Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements weekly with high precision.
- Process payroll and manage associated tax filings.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
