What You Will Do
As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Payroll: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring all timesheets and deductions are correctly applied.
- Compliance: Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Software: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) to manage data entry and reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is required; strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are a plus.
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members.
