Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledgers, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Process payroll for multiple entities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax filings and ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to resolve financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial reporting, and basic tax compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment (serving Texas clients).
