Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing portfolio for delinquency indicators and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with lending teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
- Stay current on industry regulations and credit scoring methodologies
- Contribute to process improvements for credit evaluation workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex financial data
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
