Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Process payroll using [Software Name] or similar platforms.
- Assist the accounting manager with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
