Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct monthly and nightly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets for stakeholders.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in the processing of payroll for night shift staff, ensuring tax compliance and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Client Communication: Communicate financial updates and resolve billing inquiries with clients.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks or Xero is required.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 5 PM - 2 AM or 6 PM - 3 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
