Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, specifically focusing on accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts nightly to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and adjusting entries.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both digital and physical documents.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries during business hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a night shift schedule.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
