Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Process and payroll processing for multiple clients and employees.
- Prepare and generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and quarterly filing requirements.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel to organize financial data and track expenses.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Xero experience is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
