Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process weekly payroll for multiple employees with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices to clients and collect outstanding payments.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and budget analysis.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be available to work in our Milwaukee, WI office (Hybrid model).
