Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and send invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Process payroll entries and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses and revenue.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
