Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all tax filings are compliant with Florida and Federal regulations.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents for clients.
- Review invoices for accuracy and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status and account details.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software is required.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Familiarity with US tax laws and payroll processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required.
