As a Bookkeeper Trainee, you will work closely with our senior accountants to manage client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. If you have a knack for numbers and a desire to grow, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process invoices and track accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the payroll process by preparing timesheets and data.
- Organize financial records and maintain filing systems.
- Learn and utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly.
- Reliable transportation (if required for client visits).
