Responsibilities
- Analyze credit risk and financial statements to assess loan viability
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial clients
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging trends
- Collaborate with senior leadership on credit policy development
- Present findings to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Maintain compliance with federal and state banking regulations
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline credit processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (FDIC, OCC, Hawaii state laws)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and credit software platforms
- Credit certification (CRCM or CCE preferred)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex portfolios under pressure
