Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets for management review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
