Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Transactions: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with precision and timeliness.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- General Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and the preparation of payroll tax filings.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
