Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Process payroll for a small team and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems for audits.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero and Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management.
