Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 SMB clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Handle accounts payable/reconciliation with 3-day SLAs
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements using Excel and financial software
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state regulations
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of KY tax regulations
- Experience with manufacturing or service industry clients
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
