Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including profit & loss and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage is required).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
