Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and accurate financial reports.
- Process payroll and assist with quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and inventory reconciliation.
- Review invoices for accuracy and approve payments within company guidelines.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
