Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
- Process payroll and ensure tax filings (1099s, W-2s) are accurate and timely.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and audit preparations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain accurate ledgers and records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries and document requests.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Pro and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
