Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and preparation of quarterly tax filings.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and income.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
