Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage the complete accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and balance sheets for clients.
- Payroll Management: Assist with payroll processing and tax filings (1099 and W-2).
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account analysis.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their financial inquiries and statements.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to GAAP and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience required; CPA or Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
