Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll and prepare necessary tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting and budget analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Clerk.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
