Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and issue invoices to clients to ensure timely cash flow.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and preparation of tax forms as required.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and clients.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
